My grade school art teacher--Mrs. Lockhart. She used to "correct" your artwork!! Once told me 'No! No!'....'the sky is BLUE, and leaves are GREEN'.
What kind of artist says that? What kind of adult responds to a kid's imagination like that? she was tall, skinny, old and wrinkly (to my eyes), and wore grey orthopedic shoes. if you were noisy, she made you kneel on the floor in the back of the room until art class was over. maybe she hated life. I hated her.
