I think thunderstorms are exciting. As long as I'm in a safe and sheltered place that is. There's something about the downpour of rain, the flash of lightening and BOOM! I love the idea that other than the noise outside, it's actually very peaceful inside... it's really nice to think that the world is being cleansed. The storm will pass eventually and hopefully the sun will shine.
If a does take storm place, depending on my mood I would light some candles and read in the darkness, listen to music on my itouch or grab my camera and try to capture the moment. If I am feeling particularly reflective, I would sit by the window and listen to the rain fall...

As you say, everything is cleansed, and refreshed, and there is the unmistakable aroma of ozone.
