I think I could live without the internet for a month, but why would I want to? The computer has replaced more than a few chores for me; I don't have to stand in line at the Post Office to mail bills, nor do I have to go into a store if I don't want to. I can buy a book and keep it on my computer, without having to set foot in a bookstore or a library, and I can chat with my friends and family (those who have a computer as well, of course) anytime, no matter where they are in the world.

At this point, I have as much an umbilical cord to my laptop as my boy has to his XBox! :)

So unless the world ends and the web fails with it, I think I'll keep tap-tap-tapping away.
