- The Funniest Thing I've Ever Heard a Child Say
-
I must revise this question, only because I have heard some pretty darn funny things from my kids and grandkids.
Jessica~ (24) After looking at a picture of the Last Supper: "I love that picture. Isn't that like the Final Breakfast?" I think she was around 18 yrs old at the time, thats why I found it so funny.
Aimee~ (22). Definitely hard to choose ONE with her, she has a TON of funny things. A standout one is: She stands in the doorway, holding a measuring cup, asking me how she can tell what 8 OZ is. The thing funny about it is, she is not saying OUNCES, she is saying OZ, like Wizard of OZ. Even after the entire family corrects her, and of course laughs at her she keeps insisting that it is pronounced OZ and not ounces, because the box she is reading does not say ounce it says OZ. She was around 15-16, which to me makes it all the more funny.
Jason~ (11) I think he was around 4-5, he was listening to us talk about what babies can hear before birth, just pregnancy in general. " I remember being in your stomach mom, and it was always great when you would eat, I would be in there and a steak would float on by, then some potatos, I would just grab em and eat em up." Classic.
Dominic~(6) Just a couple weeks ago, at our house getting ready to get in the pool. He had the usual reminders to use the bathroom, so he did his business, walked out and stopped in front of the mirror. After taking a long glance at himself, walks out into the living room, says to everyone: " You know every time I walk by a mirror I think to myself, "THAT IS ONE GREAT LOOKING GUY LOOKING BACK AT ME".
Adriana~(4) She was watching Aimee in the pool, she says to Aimee, "mom, swim under that water be like a mermaid". Aimee says, "no Adriana, Im not going underwater you go underwater if you want too". Adriana, throws her hands in the air, totally disgusted and says " MOM I AM NOT A MERMAID" then looks behind her to make sure she isn't.
Just a few of the many hilarious things my kids and grandkids say.
