    • This book's setting is bleak and scary and I couldn't put it down
    • The inability of an individual to remember his past and who he is, threatens his survival. A series of letters and parcels to arrive addressed to himself from the first Eric Sanderson, a survival manual and he will need it.

An absence of certain knowledge of who and where you are is scary. Childhood fears and make-believe come to life and merge into something you could have had nightmares about. The search for something true and real to hang on to is very relatable and brought back memories of my own childhood nightmares.

Sounds interesting. I've not heard of this particular book. I may just look it up. Thanks, I enjoyed your review.

Thanks, I don't generally read scary stuff, my imagination is way too vivid and certainly doesn't need stimulus. However, have been following the Australian ABC Station First Tuesday Book club since it started to broaden my choice of reading material and to try and stay current with the world while running a business and chasing a 22 month old.
