I think the concept of religion as a whole is so corrupt these days. I mean each religion preaches that it is solely the correct one, and all the others will get you eternal damnation. So which is the right one? Simple, none of them. When it comes to religion, I prefer to remain neutral, neither for nor against them. I acknowledge their existence, but am not swayed in either direction. I think good human qualities like compassion, empathy, and even kindness far outweigh the benefits of any religion. Now is there a God or Gods? As a man of science, I cannot say yes or no. But in the end, all that we know in the universe was from some sort of creation. So there would have to have been a creator or creators who put everything in place or in motion. Something doesn't come from nothing afterall. Now should this stop me from spreading loving kindness to people I meet? Or find compassion with those who are ill, or weak of heart? No, I think that is the purpose of life, religion or not.
