Signing the Defense of Marriage Act was the most cowardly and calculating act of President Clinton. It's an immoral law, based on a silly premise: I've been married over 30 years, and I can't imagine how my marriage ever needed defending from the something like the marriage of my upstairs neighbors (who are both male). I'm proud to live in a state that has legal gay marriage and the state in which a federal judge struck the law down as unconstitutional.
