- Let me tell you what I do
-
I work in a skilled rehab facility which serves as a caring bridge between hospital and home. We provide our patients with excellent care in a warm, family-oriented environment. Speeding recovery and returning our patients home as quickly as possible are our primary goals, with the clinical care team supporting patients and their families during their stay.
I pass medications, change dressings, help people walk and bathe. I work with patients to restore thier ability to care for themselves. I provide support emotionally and spiritually to help people cope with a difficult diagnosis and accomidate thier life styles. Change is hard and we work to make it a little easier to ensure patient success!
I really love my job. I am blessed with meeting so many interesting people and am privilaged in being able to help them as they heal. A patient's simple thank you is so elating. To know that what I do really matters is a blessing I cannot describe!
