Billy Hart

He had this dream every night where he suddenly found himself in front of a drum set playing with a jazz combo by the name of Carnal-Sandwich. The band is looking directly at him. They don't want to say anything because that would show a lack of professionalism to the audience. But they are hoping he understands the facial cues.
The funny this is that he's never played the drums before, at least not a drum set. He's played some bongos back at Burning Man, but he was high on Opium. Everyone was high on Opium. There wasn't really an audience per say. The band was the audience, and they weren't a very critical group of people at that.
But a jazz crowd was different. He considered giving them small pieces of hand-held percussion to include them in on the process. Hopefully they wouldn't be too disappointed at his complete lack of skill if they were bumbling their way through the song too...
