- My Favorite Place in the World

I have mentioned many times in the past that I love going to coffee shops and bookstores, if for no other reason than the atmosphere created from within. There are few things in the world more relaxing than sitting and reading a good book or magazine while having a cup of coffee.
Grounds for Thought takes the coffee shop/bookstore atmosphere and adds an entire additional dimension to the experience. From the coffee shop side, they grind all of their own beans in house on a daily basis, along with specially blended expressos that are unique to the shop. Their line of specialty coffee drinks are not only delicious but priced reasonably (especially for college students). Grounds also has a limited selection of food that goes well with any of their coffee selections, including a wide variety of ice cream (provided by Hershey's Ice Cream as of the last time I visited).
From a reading selection angle, Grounds has an array of books hard to find anywhere else. While the shop may not carry as many of the newly released best sellers as a chain bookstore, it does have numerous secondhand books difficult to locate in bookstores or online.
The best part of Grounds for Thought though? Four words: chocolate covered expresso beans.
