    • The Poisonwood Bible
    • The book's written from the perspective of five different women -- five-year-old Ruth-May, fifteen-year-olds Adah and Leah, sixteen-year-old Rachel and their mother, Orleanna. The voices are so distinct and absolutely amazing, from Ruth-May's likening of everything to biblical stories to Rachel's use of wrong words (tapestry of justice, taken for granite, etc.). It's honestly one of the best books I've ever read.
