I worked in a baby nursery at a Presbyterian church. I was 14. I wore a dog collar around my neck, doc martens painted like bowling shoes and blue hair. The parents were scared a first, but I got tons of babysitting gigs out of it. I always spent most of my earned money at the vintage record store between my work and my house.
