Kid plays in water and sand on Morro Strand State Beach

I miss being able to completely submerge myself into an imagined world. I'd get so deep into something that people would be calling for me and I'd be totally oblivious. I sometimes get close when I'm reading a really good book, but not very often, and never to the point where my physical body is part of the play.
