My recollections of Red Rocks Amphitheater

Great atmosphere for one! The stage and seating is carved right into the red rocks, with lots of natural rock formations all over the surrounding area. At dusk, the sun goes down and on the dark horizon you can see the hundreds and thousands of small lights that is the city of Denver. Every time I have visited, the crowd there has ALWAYS been amazing and sweet.

My first date with my bf was there and it was needless to say, magical. I could not have chosen a better scene to be the backdrop to our first kiss. <333 We went to see the Steve Miller Band, a classic rock group from back in the day.

Around our 1 year anniversary we went back, to their Films on the Rocks series to see Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and again, great atmosphere, awesome crowd, and even though the rocks were a little hard to sit on, with a couple of blankets it got quite comfy!
