My first real real job was at an ad agency, as a Flash developer. Funny story. So, one of my best friends (who lived in the Bay Area) came to visit me in podunk Arkansas. Literally a month later, I'd gotten a job, packed two huge suitcases, booked a hotel for two days, and moved to San Francisco. I didn't know anyone besides Dave, and he was back at school in Chico.

Aaaaanyway, I stayed there for a year and a half. And as far as how much I was making, I was raised 10k from a previous offer with a company in NY. So, I win.
