I was a stockperson/cashier at Kmart for my first job. I worked there for just over a year and it was horrible. I think when I left I was making $8.00 an hour? All I know is that I had earned 1 week of paid time off. So I scheduled some time off, gave my two week notice, used my paid time off, worked 2 days, and left. It was the worst job I've had.
