    • Once again...a post from plinky.com! I feel its a bit of a cop out to do this too often (I have ideas, hopefully at some point I'll be able to start drafting some of them and get on a roll of 'original' posts!)...I just got in from a family Boxing Day Party so I'm pretty chuffed I'm posting at all though!

Given half a chance, I'll find something to cry at at pretty much every movie out there...I even cried at Shallow Hal for goodness sake (The bit when the spell is broken and he goes back to the children's burns ward...sob!)!

I cry at Adverts, YouTube videos, Glee, Ugly Betty...The list could go on and on...There are songs on my iPod that I can NEVER listen to because I know that a few bars in eyes will well up and by the chorus it will only be by huge mental and physical effort that I'm not sobbing like a baby!

Needless to say, I've found the festive season a challenge...Children believing in Santa makes me cry, children NOT believing in Santa makes me cry...the moment in the film when the child starts believing in Santa...you get the point. I've spent most of the last few days sitting in the corner of the living room biting my lip and staring at the ceiling trying to think of ANYTHING to stop me sobbing in front of all my family!

Maybe half my problem is is that I just need to chill out a bit at let the emotion flow (I notice this post has been as much about making sure I DON'T cry that actually crying)...Maybe that's a question for a therapist, not a blog post...maybe it's time I went to bed!

      Night night Blog Land! xxx
