This year -2010- is my most eventful year in my life (which is not very long, but still!). The single most important thing I accomplished was getting rid of any and all my inhibitions.
Life Death Love Hate Pleasure Pain (Bruce Nauman)
Well, I should probably have mentioned first and foremost that I am only a teenager and nothing more. All those things holding me back from doing what I want to do: lack of motivation, fear of disappointment, and many more were putting a heavy toll on my mind.
I naturally am a heavy risk-taker, but I'm also paying attention to what everyone else is doing, how they are watching me, and so on. I was being influenced by too much peer pressure. Teenage peer pressure... ick.
This year --this year-- I let it all go. I was being stressed out, and I let everything go. I allowed my true nature to come out fully which is to be absolutely daring and completely reckless. I can't say everything I've done online because that would be... stupid of me, ha ha!
I laugh and I laugh at myself, and it's all good. That's my accomplishment. Might not be a lot, but doing that one thing took me on a hell of a ride this year, and I'm glad.
