The first time I got on stage, it was for a musical, The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe! It was pretty amazing. I played Lucy, and I was only 9. It was a fun experience, and the fact that it was done by the most prestigious theatre group in the Philippines at that time, perhaps baffled my parents (they didn't even know I could sing, they thought I was kidding when I wanted to audition).

The best part was that it was my entry into more fun years of professional theatre and even a bit of TV work! It was great. I would do it again...

Oh, and getting paid when you're only 9 is indeed overwhelming. I kind of wish I saved it instead of spending it on gameboy games and computer games... :))
