Last time I checked the area of the town was 1/2 a mile. Some 900 odd people living there, maybe. One grocery store, 3 gas stations, one bank, library, hardware store, post office, credit union (at which my grandma is the "manager"), park, city pool, a very small hospital... and lots of houses.
I grew up on the plains of Northeast Colorado in the middle of farming country.
Fun stuff, man. I miss it.
