    • I really don't feel like discussing anything else today besides Coachella 2009.

But I will say that a helicopter would absolutely be a sweet get, as far as traveling from our hotel in Palm Springs to the festival site goes. For some reason, a 700 lane highway funnels into an ole' country road about 30 feet away from the parking lot. Adding about 34 hours to your travel time.

I may be off on my math. That's why I'm wonderful.

MCCARTNEY? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? AWESOME!

Sorry. It would also be pretty easy to find the helicopter in the parking lot.

PUBLIC ENEMY, BOOKER T, JENNY LEWIS, LEONARD COHEN? WHAT THE F? AND MY BLOODY VALENTINE? BOO-YA!

Oh, and some other stuff, too. Let's open up the phone lines. Who else is going this year?

Really?! I thought the line up was kind of a bummer. Maybe it's because I go to too many concerts and have already seen all these peeps. Check out the Black Keys all up in your area. They're the best performers, fer sher.

I find that one can only really compare Coachella lineups to other Coachella lineups. So in comparison to last year's EPIC bummer of a lineup, with its Jack Johnsons and David Gilmourses, this lineup is pretty right on.
I'm also 1000 years old, so I get excited about stuff like X, Cohen, Paul Weller...And even though I saw MBV last year, the idea of seeing them in the desert makes me go "squee!"
Finally, The Killers headlining Saturday means I get to go back to my hotel/hot tub/pot a few hours early. And you can't put a price on that.
