That's easy; "What Technology Wants" by Kevin Kelly. Which i'm reading now (slowly).
I'm not much of a reader, i like to listen and watch and let my mind wander.
I have to be able to 'see' things, which i find difficult with most books.
Don't get me wrong i like a good story, it's just that i'm more interested in science, philosophy, technology, history, evolution etc. that makes me search for good online documentaries to get a better understanding of this world.
Kevin Kelly had some intriguing arguments about technology being as evolutionary as biology and in fact life itself that he considers it to be the 7th kingdom next to humans, animals, plants etc.
This got me thinking; "I always thought that technology was a human invention until i saw a bird built it's nest". That thought me made smile, and I had Kevin to thank for the inspiration.
