Let me start by saying this: I am not getting in a helicopter. I did ride in a helicopter once when I was young and in that nothing-bad-could-possibly-ever-happen-to-me stage of my teenage years. You know that time right after you started wearing a training bra and right before you realized that life in junior high was not all that bad, even if you were crying in the locker room at EVERY SCHOOL DANCE!!!

But I digress. I am older and wiser now. Helicopters are scary and dangerous and they look like they are made of plastic. I remember when my in-laws came back from Hawaii and told us they took a helicopter tour of the volcanos and all I could think to say was "What the hell were you thinking?!?!?"

-BUT-

If I had to get in one of those things today, I would buzz on over to the Grand Canyon. On our recent trip to Lousiana, Grant and I flew over the Grand Canyon on our way home and it was absolutly beautiful. I would love to see its beauty more up close and personal. Even if it means getting in a "death machine."
