Yes, that's pretty much spot on and there is NOTHING wrong with it. This album is incredible sounding. As a co-worker described "it sounds like noise is fucking inside my skull and its not enjoying it".

Get into it.

Omni by Minus The Bear

"Minus the Bear continue to evolve their knotty, math-tinged indie pop away from traditional arrangements and into more synthesized spaces. On Omni, drum machines accompany live drums, and the intricately tapped guitar lines are accented, and sometimes out and out replaced, by winding synths".

And its just totally awesome. Still.

My stand-out track: The Thief

The Boxer by Kele Okereke

"...makes the most of this chance to break new musical ground, shaking off a lot of Bloc Party's gloom and channeling that band's urgency in a very different way. Kele flirted with electronics on Bloc Party's later work, but he dives headfirst into them here'.

This has been out for awhile, and at first I wasn't keen on it when my Shock rep was telling me about it, in fact; I didn't even listen to it. That is until about 4 weeks, and I fell in love with it.

My stand-out track: Tenderoni.
