I have a chronic problem: Somehow, I keep poking holes into my t-shirts. (It's not a moth or bug problem.) I have a t-shirt that, at last count, had 23 holes in it, but it funnily distresses my partner whenever I wear it so, needless to say, I put it on every once in awhile to get him riled up. He tells me I look like a hobo and to please buy a new one, which only makes me wash and put it away carefully for the next occasion. When it stops being effective at getting his attention, I guess I'll consider getting rid of it. Probably won't, though, to be honest. I think I might want to be cremated in it; heck, it looks like it's been through a fire already.

Now that I think about this some more, I think I can't throw it away not because it bothers him but because if it should fail to bother him then I know our relationship is probably in trouble; if he comes home one day and talks about another girl with holes in her t-shirts then it's game over for us.
