    • A Memorable Job Interview
    • When I interviewed to teach English in Japan, the panel asked me what three things I could bring to represented my home. My home's well known for skiing, so I said skis. But then I quantified that by saying "Well, maybe not real skis, they're pretty big and hard to take to Japan, so would take like little Barbie skis." Meanwhile my brain is screaming "OH GOD STOP TALKING".

      I got the job . . . eventually.
