The person who got away from me unfortunately lives in another hemisphere and I can't find him on Facebook or Skype to talk to him. We used to talk all the time on AIM...when people still used AIM. We were only able to actually date for a couple of weeks because I was his supervisor, so we didn't start anything until he was about to leave because it would've been too late for them to do anything anyway. The next year he came back though, we were in different areas and I didn't see him as often and I pulled away a bit and he ended up dating this other chick...which was super-awkward. Even though he's in another country, probably could've gotten it to work in some way, but oh well. We're planning a European trip and we're supposed to visit him in the Czech Republic because one of the people I'm going with is really good friends with him. Apparently, my ex-Czech boyfriend would be excited to see me, though I don't know how my friend knows that, but whatever. He went on a European trip over New Year's that winter that Czech and I dated and came back with a birthday present from my Czech boy. I know he really liked me then, but there was that other girl after me, so I figured I'd be replaced...but again, I don't know for sure. I think about him a lot and keep hoping I'll at least talk to him again, but as each year goes by, I lose more and more hope on that.
Another thing that got away from me was my dream of music performance, but I've written about that enough, I think, haha.
