I love going to Lake Nac when there's something going on in the night sky. The first time I went was during a meteor shower. I'd never seen meteors or shooting stars before. The only lights out there are on the few-and-far-between lakefront houses. In East Texas I can automatically see more stars than I can back home in the city, and it's an eerie feeling. I guess it makes you feel smaller than you're used to. But it's a good place to think when a lot is going on in your life.
