Independence Pass

This is easy - the mountains! I spent 15 years in the Colorado Rockies, and they are beyond beautiful - well, the most majestic thing I have laid my eyes upon to date. However, I would love to see more of the mountains throughout the United States, especially would like to go the east coast. Maybe spend a little time in the Catskills, and then make my way to Vermont. I have always pictured Vermont as a very quaint place to live, and not near as crowed as the mountain towns in CO. can be. Though, I can remember taking drives through the Rockies in the fall, and literally have my breath taken away. The first time I went to the mountains of Colorado, I came over Independence Pass, and was completely taken back - I fell in-love and there was no looking back for me. Within a year or so I had completely moved myself, my husband and our children out there. We all hold on tightly to those cherished memories.
