the queue

Well, depends on your age...

During childhood, I used wait for hours in the queue for tickets for the fairs, my first Harry Potter book signing, the tickets for the Major League games...

Fast forward to present, no way am I going to jump the queue at the airport for Customs, takes hours for it to be cleared in many of the airports, then the tickets for the big NBA game ( the hours seem like mere minutes then) or the live Linkin' Park concerts.

Well can't figure out a third reason, maybe if you go shopping around X'mas season and all the queues at the cash counter are like six feet long !!!
