Plinky asked me about my hometown...
I've always lived in Crowle, a large-ish village, slap bang in the middle of nowhere. It was always nice growing up here when I was younger, because it was quiet, we were always allowed out to play in the street (I'm pretty sure Mam would have been too paranoid to let us out if we were living in a town!), which mean that we interacted with kids of all ages. There's a real sense of community in small villages, you always know that if you need help, it'll always be there, which is really nice. But as I got older, it just got boring. I still appreciate that it's a beautiful place, but the fact that there's nothing to do for miles, and as I drive, there's no way I can get anywhere, it gets a bit lonely. I don;t have many friends live close by, and those that I do aren't close (or are ex-boyfriends so talk to me as little as often! haha). But come September, I'll be oving out into the big wide world. And that's going to be scary as hell!
