I worked as a page at the local library for 4 years (all through high school). For the uninformed: pages are the people that shelve books.

We also tidied up and had to sit on the floor of the book drop room and pick everything up (it sounds awful but you tend to find a really awesome book while in there and spend hours reading it...but once we found a razor blade in there, so I guess it's kind of scary).

Work was easy, the librarians were super nice, and I got unrestricted access to any book/cd/movie I wanted. Once the work was done I spent a lot of time reading. It was the perfect job for me.
