- Time Flies When You're on the Web

I have become such a creature of habit in the last few years. Well, I've always been one but it's much worse now. When I get up, I have an exact routine I have to follow. OCD does have some curses, I suppose.
The internet has to be the best invention ever. Used properly, of course, and it can't rule your life. I try to treat my internet usage like anything else that can be addictive. With me, people will always be more important but some days I can't help the thought 'I wish these people will go so I can play'. I'm kidding.
When I start Firefox in the mornings, I say thanks to Mozilla. I love being able to have multiple tabs open. I love my laptop because it lets me do many functions at the same time. Right now, Yahoo, Pandora radio, Facebook, Pogo, Plinky and a couple others are open in the browser. And that's just the browser.
I have a few sites that are must do's every day. StumbleUpon is a favorite, especially if I get bored. You can always find something of interest there. It's where I spend my time traveling the world, reading, admiring photography, learning gardening secrets, following scrumptious recipes.
Plinky is a must. I read the prompt first, to decide if I want to answer. Then I have to read all the answers already listed. I do check back through the day to read answers and look for those I 'follow'.
My facebook account is very thin. I only have family and good friends on there. I don't use it to play those silly games. We post song videos or news articles, things like that. Quite boring to some. I don't collect 'friends' just to collect them and my account is very private. I can't see the purpose of having hundreds and hundreds of people on your list. I only add those I value and want to share time with.
The only games sites I go to are pogo.com and HP games, well it's Wild Tangent actually, for downloads. But I'm not much on talking, I just like to play the games. Well, pogo does have minis. My mini has a huge wardrobe mostly fun stuff. A couple of my grand-kids love to make new minis for me.
Of course, there is the news. Yahoo gives all the headlines updated all day long. My local news, too. Although being a smaller town, there isn't much to update.
I have to check my eBay and Etsy shops, also.
My blog is days behind schedule. Too much going on around here and I haven't posted in a while. My newest Sailor's Valentine won't get done, either if I don't start controlling all the interruptions.
Peaking of which, I've already had too many interruptions and am behind my schedule!!
