Retired in France

Do you know what happens when you are retired? There is no work or school. Everyday is a day off, well it's supposed to be, but many retirees find that they now have so much to do and often wonder how they had the time to go out to work. The trouble is that everyday is the same and I often have to ask' what day of the week is it?' I know which month and which year but the days go by so fast that it is difficult to keep track of time.

Sometimes I envy those who still work, not because of money but simply because they get a change of scenery and someone different to talk to. It is great being here with Nev but sometimes, just sometimes it would be nice to be somewhere else.

Now I shall contradict myself.
I was in Spain last week,, It was fun and it was ok but I was so eager to get home again. I like being here with my hubby and all my animals. I like the normal , dreary part of our lives but, just occasionally it is good to do something else because then you get to appreciate all that you have.
