Yes, I do blog. A lot, although I suppose you have to define what you mean by "a lot." Technically I have four blogs, although one is only a demonstration blog. That still leaves three blogs that I write on a daily basis.

Why so much writing? The easy answer is that two of them are part of my effort to get a teaching job. Since I am certified in both science and English, I have one blog about books and reading and writing, which I've been working on since 2009. The other blog is about science, naturally, but I've only just started that one recently. I don't have a lot to post there yet, but that will change, I'm sure.

Actually, I wish I had time to write more. I just recently acquired a used laptop, and I'm doing more writing now. I enjoy writing and wish I could make a living at it, but for now I'm content to do it more or less for free.

I don't read a lot of other blogs, but there are a few cooking blogs that I enjoy following, since I also like to cook. I also like to follow Wil Wheaton, who has always something intelligent to say and can say it in an intelligent manner.

Walk (too big for stroller) and White Whine are always interesting. And after finding about Bob Cringely's Christmas cards, I'm following him, too. There are others I could follow, but I have to admit, although I enjoy composing on the computer, I find doing a lot of reading on it to be tedious. I will often print out posts that I like and read them that way. And that's another reason that I like Wil Wheaton, because like me, he styles for print.
