- In defense of my vice: Judgement
-
I tend to read people a lot. Not every waking second of conversation, that would just get tedious. But when I do read people, I tend to make judgements which may not be entirely fair.
But, in my defence, I keep my opinion to myself most of the time and try to be polite. I'm sure every person I've ever judged has judged me at some time. So, in a way, they're just doing what I do. I think I have a right to label people, as long as I don't go around being an ass about it/don't focus on it too much if I ever talk to them in person. And I don't really do this to my friends, since there's no point- I know them enough through experience.
So yeah, I analyse a bit. But everyone does that to some extent. And I'd tell my friends if I ever thought badly about them, although not in a normal conversation, since that'd just cause them to become defensive. If it was just between the person and I, and they were willing to accept opinion, then I would fire away.
