Well, until recently I was pretty disapointed in my love-life. (I just met my first boyfriend, and I'm 21....)
So, when I was once again feeling really crappy, I actually opend a profile at an online dating service. It was interesting to look around... After just 3 days, I had gotten 4 messages from men in my area. I actually wrote emails with 2 of them. It felt awesome to have somebody tell me how pretty I am and how much they like to read my mails. But then I got scared. I had never been on a date, let alone a blind-date. But I didn't want to tell them, and so I did something stupid and mean. I wrote them an email, saying, that I'm sorry, but my friend had created this account for me without me knowing and she had been the one writing them. I told them that I didn't believe in dating services and wished them a happy life...

It all seems really stupid to me now, especially since I have the best first boyfriend a girl could wish for right and I met him "the normal way"....
Why I call it "the normal way"? Because it feels normal too me, but to everybody else here, who uses dating services, I'm happy for you (and a little bit jealouse of your fearlessness).
