Derelict house

What a very strange question to ask of a sensible mature lady. ( I was going to write old lady or elderly lady but I am neither of these).

As far as I am concerned Old Abandoned buildings should be demolished.
Where I live now there are many old building from the age of Communism. They have been unused for many years. The windows are broken and the weeds reach far beyond where I can see.
Not only are they a danger to anyone who goes near them but they are unsightly and ugly.
Therefore they are not 'cool' or 'creepy' .They are just a blot on the landscape and we would be better without them.
In this country , old abandoned buildings does not just apply only to factories or commercial premises but to local housing as well. In the village of Sushitsa where I live, there are many delapidated houses. The broken roofs overhanging the pavement. It worries me that one day something will fall and someone will die...all because the houses have not been demolished.
It is said that as the houses belong to relatives of the person who used to live there (now long dead ) it is their responsibility to take care of the property. The chances are that whoever these people are they do not even know that the house exists.

Would I ever explore one of these derelict buildings..Not on your life!
