Goal

My biggest achievement this past 6 months has been finally implementing a goal at work that has been a goal for a couple of years. I teach and supervise instructors of adult learners. We needed to begin collecting assessment data for each class we teach. I had to develop meaningful pre and post test (or performance test) for each course, administer the tests, collect and grade the tests, compile and chart the data in a way that's easy to share results with other senior leaders. In other words prove that learning occured while people were off the job to attend our training sessions. It was a big task because it was all pretty new to me but we finally got the entire system implemented.

My goals for the next six months are to continue to delegate the more routine training to my assistant so I can be free to focus on the more strategic and less routine projects such as succession planning and leadership development through mentoring.
