    • The three biggest responsibilities I've ever been made accountable for.

      1. Another person.

You know the times you apply for your tax return and the accountant asks if you have any dependants to claim for? I usually say no. Now, I have a little man in my life that depends on me for his life.

Who in the hell thought it was a great idea to have me watch over another person, let alone a baby? haha I can't even look after myself half the time.

All jokes aside though, there is no responsibility like parenthood. It teaches you to manage your time efficiently, you build up a vocabulary that no non-parent or non-medical professional understands; like 'let-down', or 'the show', or my favourite, 'the perineal massage'; and I'm not talking about the sexual perineal massage. *wink*

You learn your capabilities to function on the littlest amount of sleep physically possible. All the times as a young adult that I went clubbing and drinking a few days in a row with little sleep, does not measure up to the fatigue you feel looking after a baby.

Lastly, in over five weeks with my newborn, I've actually said, 'Yes, that's my son' to randoms several times and usually because they want to know who is responsible should Leo ever go astray or needs medical attention.

Let's hope luck is on my side for the next eighteen years!

      2. My Financial Footprint

There is a reason I didn't study mathematics in my senior years, I had trouble with numbers. When I hit the ripe age of eighteen, I began spending up a storm. The CCCC's took over my life. CLOTHES, CARS, COUNTRIES & CLUBBING.

Now that I've taken two of those C's out of my equation, the financial footprint I've left behind has left me replacing CARS & CLUBBING with COWERING in my CANNINESS.

      Ahh...such is life.

      3. My Happiness

There is no one in this world responsible for making myself happy. I choose the people to surround myself with and I choose who to love. I choose to love myself, and I choose to be happy.
