Plinky asked me whether I feel obliged to finish all the books I start reading...

I always give a book a chance to get me hooked. But if it's still boring half-way through, I pretty much give up.

Of course, through my English Lit course, there were a few books I was forced to read, which I didn;t enjoy at the time, but after returning to them, enjoy reading immensely; So I'm pretty glad I stuck with it.
