My father's. Which is why we don't get along at all.

My mother is a vain cheerful social butterfly. She rarely has a care in the world and doesn't mind if she doesn't know anything about anything. (Her version of the "news" is which celebrities are dating this week, and she often confuses Jack Kevorkian and Jack Kerouac.) Honestly, I wish I took after her. But I don't.

I take after my harsh introverted weirdo of a father. We feel stupid if we don't know everything, and we don't know shit about expressing our emotions. We're awkward and mentally disturbed and technology-savvy. We're unathletic nerds with big hearts that we can't express. And we have dirty minds, but nobody wants to fuck us.

It's a sad existence, really.
