Can WE really call this progress?

Water Pollution with Trash Disposal of Waste at the Garbage Beach

There can only be one answer to this question?
MAN...is the most destructive force to the whole of mankind.

Maybe it could be that things are evolving as The Maker intended but as far as I can see MAN and I include me in that word, we are making a real pig's ear out of the enviroment .

Due to greed we have allowed the trees in the Rain Forests to be felled. We have overfished the stocks in the seas.
We have hunted and killed animal species until they are extinct
We have damaged the ozone layer beyond repair
We have puts , gases, fumes and debris into the air
We have used radiation and polluted the air
We have killed off the beauty of the Barrier Reef and other coral places.
We have detonated bombs which have altered the construction of the ozone.

Do I really need to go on and on. I am quite sure that in a few more monutes I could think of other things which WE have done to destroy the Earth. Now WE are trying to journey to other planets so that we can do the same thing all over again.
WILL WE EVER LEARN?
