I can't answer why I haven't published a story, except that I don't submit very many. In fact, very few. Maybe one or two. I don't even think it is fear of rejection, I think it may be doubt that I am an interesting writer. A good writer, yes. Technically and stylistically good, but I have terrible stories. They are all empty of characters. Perhaps I don't know enough real people, or perhaps enough real people don't know me. But then, that is what most of my stories are about.
