- The Dangers of Not Procrastinating
-
I think I can honestly say that I am not a procrastinator. I am probably the opposite of a procrastinator; is there a word for that? I am the person who will complete a project long before it is due and then sometimes actually forget where I put it or what I did for it. The biggest downside to being this person is that there are times when the requirements of the project will have completely changed by the due date and what I completed will no longer be relevant! For example, I lead a group of kids at church and I take the time at the end of summer to plan out all of our activities for the school year. Unfortunately, more often than not, I end up having to do the same work twice because things come up that require my plans to change. I have actually found myself looking back and wishing I'd have procrastinated so that I wouldn't be recreating the wheel over and over again. In my mind, being a procrastinator would definitely have some benefits!
