Choosing between extreme hot and extreme cold,
Remember the story about the wary traveller,
The cold wind and sun have a debate on who is stronger, they agree to use their powers on the traveller. The idea is whoever makes the traveller take his cape off is the winner. The wind blows, harsher, stronger and colder, the traveller wraps himself tighter. Then the sun shines warmly on the traveller the traveller does away with the coat.
But the cold weather, with the fire warming my pretty little toes is definitely a better bet. I imagine being wrapped in a blanket, a mug of hot soup or coffee and Agatha Christie for company. Of course the unsaid condition is I am on a holiday and I can sleep or wake up as and when I feel.
