      Cyrillic

When I was at school many years ago it was compulsory to learn another language. We had the choice..German or French!
i chose French and I found it very difficult to learn so I was not a brilliant French student..I wish I could have said otherwise but sadly..no.
However when we went to France many years later bits and pieces came floodng back and we managed to get everything that we needed. So the little that I knew came in very handy!
Then when we lived in Spain I managed to learn the language quite easily ..it just took me a long time..seven years actually. I could read Spanish quite fluently , and I knew quite a lot of words , and I could string a sentence together. Of course whether it was grammatically correct is an entirely different matter.
Now we are in Bulgaria, so there is another completely different langauge to learn and being cyrillic does not make it any easier.I have tried to have lessons but there does not seem to be a person capable of teaching in our local area. I can understand the cyrillic sounds and again like Spanish I can read it if I concentrate.
