    • Street Food!
    • Ten bucks is around 400 in Philippine peso and with that amount of money you can have a feast!
The Philippines is one of the countries in Asia with a large variety of street food where vendors can be found in almost every street and corner.
Street food can be cooked fast and easy and of course can be consumed on the go. Street food are finger foods cooked on portable stalls. Since Filipinos love to eat and appreciate the value of good food you can be sure that street vendors cook the food with care and good taste.
Street Food is not for everyone's taste, some people consider food cooked on the streets unhygienic but personally I think you can go around that bump by picking stalls that are well tended. You can easily spot ones since everything is there from the stove, pots, utensils and ingredients used in making the food.
There are a lot of variety of street food sometimes things vary on regions or cities. The way they are cooked, sauced or served depends on the stalls and you can find almost anything when hunting for street food.
Some examples are fish balls, kikiam, halo-halo, bibingka, taho, puto bumbong, sundot saging and lumpia. There are also cut fruits like mango and buko juice for drinks.
Some street food are even considered delicacies like balot and some can be bought on local supermarket and cooked at home.
You don't need to go to a restaurant to have a good meal. You don't need a lot of money to be well fed. All you need is imagination and you can explore the possibility of good food sold in the streets.
      Cheers!
