I hope it still exists - in Ann Arbor, Earthen Jar where you dish up for yourself how much of various Indian foods you like, and pay for it by the ounce. When I was short on cash, I still went there but took smaller portions. I wish many more lunchtime food suppliers would let you take the amount you want, and sell by weight.
