We used to have a phone number very similar to the electricity supplier.
We came back from holiday once to find a message on our voicemail saying the caller had sent off his bill payment and would the company please, please not cut his supply off.
We managed to get his number and left a message on his voicemail to let him know that the electricity company had not had his message and giving him the correct number to call.
